Prospective MSc sutdents who would like to work on their thesis under my supervision shall follow the formal process for admission to the corresponding progam.

At present only students who are enrolled in COMP-4990 or in exceptional cases in COMP4960 are being considered. If you wish to join my team, you can contact me about specific topics and projects available.

Details about our graduate programs, including application process, program requirements, funding and other aspects of the programs can be found here. Note that I do not answer questions about the application/admission process.

Graduate and undergraduate students' projects include applications of foundational machine learning models. Check my main web page, the Research section, and my latest publications in the scholar repositories (like Google Scholar). At present, only projects in foundational graph-based machine learning models are available. Students must have solid background or being willing to reinforce in fundamental concepts of machine learning, incluidng algebra, probability, optimization and information theory; solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, complexity, intractabilty and computation is required. Students should be willing to join a team and maintain confidentiality of the projects and their outcomes, while committing to publications and/or thesis reports.
